| You'll meet with an NYUS career planning specialist and your personal Admissions representative, who will help you as you take each of these 4 steps. (Note: NYUS has a multilingual admissions staff, so you may always request a bilingual Admissions Associate.) After discussing your career goals and reviewing the programs of study, you'll go on a campus tour and complete an admissions application. The $25 non-refundable application fee can be paid via check or money order. |

Step 2: Take the placement test. |

| The purpose of this test is to determine a student's level of preparation for credit-bearing college courses. If the results indicate that additional preparation is needed, remedial English and/or math courses will be incorporated into his/her class schedule. This approach ensures that all NYUS students will benefit from their courses and can successfully graduate and get a job in their field of study. Candidates for the Computer Programming & Information Systems degree and certificate programs must also take a career aptitude assessment test. |

Step 3 : Attend a one-on-one interview with an NYUS Financial Aid representative |

| Every prospective NYUS student is guaranteed a personal and confidential meeting with a Financial Aid officer. The goal of this interview is to determine the best possible sources for funding your college education based on your eligibility for financial aid. This includes scholarships available exclusively to NYUS students and college work-study programs. |

Step 4: Create your class schedule . |

| To provide you with maximum flexibility in scheduling classes, NYUS offers morning, afternoon and evening classes, 7 days week at our Manhattan and Brooklyn campuses. You may also take many online courses. |
